Are all components Sterling Silver ?

Lisa's Trinkets is diligent on using all Sterling Silver components in her pieces to eliminate any changing of colors to the jewelry.  However in some cases such as hoop earrings, cell phone charms, bookmarks, and wine charms, it is essential to use a harder metal for the design and a quality silver plated, rhodium, or base metal is used.

**Please keep in mind ALL Sterling Silver will TARNISH.

What Causes Silver To Tarnish? The presence of Hydrogen Sulfide in any material that silver comes into contact with, is one of the prime reasons for silver tarnish. Sulfur containing materials generally cause silver to tarnish and Hydrogen Sulfide is just one of these. Materials like wool, rubber bands, fuels derived from fossils, a few types of paints and rubber (latex) gloves are some of the common materials that cause tarnishing of silver. Certain foods like eggs and onions also hasten the silver tarnish process. You can therefore realize that, touching silver jewelry with oily hands or after a meal could also stain your silver jewelry with tarnish. The extent and speed with which your silver jewelry tarnishes is also related to the climate and in general, high humidity would result in silver tarnishing much faster.

When not wearing keep silver jewelry in a sealed zip lock baggie preferably with a 3M Anti-Tarnish strip to slow this process down.  If your item does tarnish be very careful in what you use to clean it as some cleaners may discolor or remove antiquing effects from the piece permanently. For routine cleaning I use a mild dish detergent and warm water. My favorite silver cleaner that I use to restore tarnished silver can be found at.... http://hagertyusa.com/silver/products/flatware_silver_dip.htm

Do not use toothpaste to polish tarnished silver jewelry. The baking soda or other ingredients in toothpaste could prove to be too abrasive for your silver jewelry with tarnish.

Do you repair items not from your company ?

Yes.  Many times a customer purchased and item from another bead jewelry and they can no longer be found when a repair need to be made.  Lisa's Trinkets will evaluate piece and let you know if it can be repaired and what cost will be involved.  Lisa's Trinkets also replaces watch batteries, and resizes jewelry.  Due to the customization of this please use the contact us page and leave us a messages and we will get back to you.

What is your warranty ... ?

Lisa's Trinkets stands behind the quality craftsmanship of all pieces.  Items may be refunded within 30 days after purchase for exchange only and must not show any type of wear.  In the event a piece has broken due to a flaw in creation the item will be re-made free of charge.  Crystal is very delicate and has delicate finishes so if the item has been misused, such as wearing it in chlorine, cleaning it with stripping chemicals, or dropping it causing crystals to crack or break, it will not be covered but can be repaired for a small fee for the re-make and any costs for the replacement of beads. It is suggested that you stand on a carpet or soft bedding when putting on items because the crystals will shatter if you let them fall in a bathroom sink, or ceramic tile floor.
