4 Years Later and Counting!
WOW! Who would have thought that what started out as a little
hobby turned into one of the most profitable and successful businesses for
me.
Lisa's Trinkets will be soon approaching it's 4th year of business
in September of 2009. There have been many triumphs and tribulations
along the way, but it has been an experience of a lifetime. I think my
personal biggest excitement was getting my credit card machine. The
first day I had it, I was so excited to use it I charged $1,000.00 to myself
because I went SWIPE crazy! Try explaining that to the bank!
There have been many let downs such as craft fairs that have had 18 jewelers
booked with only 25 crafters, where jewelers were back to back, however for
every bad comes a good, and even if those shows were not as profitable as
the rest, they were fantastic opportunities to network. I continue to
come up with new ideas and designs and have dabbled in some really exciting
pieces where I hope to do more soon. Although this business takes a
lot of work I am comfortable now with it and have a system to keep up with
it so I am able to pursue other work as well like making websites and
graphic designs for print. The website you are looking at now is my
latest project. I hope you enjoy it and find it easy to navigate, as
much as I enjoyed creating it.
Beading is a relaxing outlet for
me and I get to express myself in my pieces. I've been to countless
affairs now where friends or family will be wearing my jewelry and still to
this day it gives me so much happiness that people like and use my designs
all the time. How great is it to see a beautiful bride walking down
the isle blinged out in all your creations, and to hear everyone around you
whispering "wow, look at her jewelry"! I love getting calls from
people that got my jewelry as gifts and they just called to tell me that
where ever they go to supermarket, bank, kids soccer practice, people rave over the piece they got from a gift. Most of
my advertising or I should say all but this website is done by word of mouth
from happy, satisfied customers, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I'd like to THANK my family and friends who have supported me for the past 4
years. Special thanks to my husband and kids for helping during crunch
times, dragging everything and helping me set up at fairs and just sitting
with me while I do what I love to do. I will never forget all the
laughs and conversations I've had while sitting at the table beading and
hanging with them and look forward to many more years of doing the same.
Last but not least THANK YOU to all who have booked parties or corporate
events and have allowed me to enter your homes and places of business to
showcase my jewelry, without people like you I would of never made it to the
4th year!

1st Year Anniversary Message
Hi,
As many of you know, I've been
working diligently with creating new styles and marketing strategies.
Business is growing and I couldn't be happier with it. I would like to
thank all of you who have supported me through the most difficult 1st year.
Your friendship and help has meant a lot to me. Without your support,
I am not sure I'd be able to pull it off. Thank You Lisa
Simonelli from Shear Elegance Salon in Malden, Ma for having faith in me,
and for promoting my items in your beautiful salon. You're a great
person and friend. Thank you to all who have booked parties, or
have brought my jewelry into work for me. Your generosity in opening your
homes or referring customers, to promote my designs is overwhelming and
comforting to know that I've got friends to depend on. To all of the
Brides I have worked with, it was a fantastic opportunity to be part of the
planning of such a special day. God Bless you're new lives together,
and I hope to make you're jewelry for all of you're 50th Wedding
Anniversaries. To all my friends and business associates, I wish you all a
Happy Healthy New Year. None of you really need my jewelry to shine,
you do that all on your own, from within.

History
Lisa's Trinkets was launched in 2005. I was invited
to a house Jewelry Party and was entranced with the beautiful Swarovski
Crystals. I purchased a piece and wanted more but could only
afford 1 at the time as the prices were very high.
I went home eager to find ways to create the jewelry for
myself, with a lower cost. I purchased some basic metal and glass
beads and taught myself how to crimp/tie/knot/and all the other fun stuff
involved in jewelry making. I wore some of my designs around, and
before you knew it I had orders flooding in.
I decided I wouldn't like my name on a particular piece of
jewelry and have it change colors on my friends and family, so I went online
and searched for many hours for Sterling Silver and Swarovski Crystal Beads.
In doing so I found that I could offer the same things for more than half
the price I saw at that overpriced Jewelry Party.
Hence Lisa's Trinkets became a true company, offering
quality service and products for people who want the beauty and class but
not the bills. I hope you browse my site and find something you like.
